It’s all very confusing

If you’re trying to protest or kick up a fuss about the upcoming G8 Summit here in the UK, or generally kick up a fuss..well where are you supposed to be? A few places spring to mind. Saturday the 2nd of July should be a busy day : ( for the police at any rate..if no one else!) Hyde Park is hosting the Live8 concert, and a stone’s throw away, at Lancaster Gate in Green Park, there will be a bunch of G8 officials trying to come up with some last-minute plans. Hmm..

So the question will be will it be worth it to run to and fro with some nice big fat placards from one spot to the other? ( or will both be so heavily guarded there will be no chance of either?)

Certainly someone has to remind everyone at the “free” concert that it ain’t all shiny happy people. ( now it cost me as an REM fan to have to write that) dear me what has the world come to, i thought these rock stars weren’t supposed to be in bed with the establishment. What next - Sir Bono?
