Sonia comes from Bangladesh and grew up in Africa and the Middle East. She is interested in society, people and change : blogging current affairs and popular and techno-culture keeps her busy (ok that’s not really true) and she particularly enjoys rowdy debates on freedom, liberty, religion, the nation state, cosmopolitanism and anything else vaguely controversial. Having worked for a green charity in the third-sector London world for the last five years Sonia is now living the entrepreneur dream and is launching her own business as a research and knowledge consultant catalysing the global knowledge society. contact her sonia@open.coop to find out what she can offer. A bit of a polymath, Sonia has somehow managed to acquire along the way a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from the University of Sheffield; a Master of Arts in Global Communication from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Global Media from the London School of Economics.
