The Interpretation of Murder by Jed Rubenfeld. now doesn”t that leave you thirsting for more! it definitely does for me, i just got it out of the library yesterday..so this is an intriguing peek for me.

I am reading this in the library, and so, following your advice, I took the first book to hand that was in English (this is Amsterdam) and I read this:
What happens to your body when you don’t eat? It slowly stops living. Your periods stop.
followed by a cheerful fourth sentence:
Your bowels stop.
The book was “Eating Disorders, the facts” by Suzanne Abraham and Derek Llewellyn-Jones (OUP)
Gosh!
Ahh, I’ve been wanting to read this book, ever since we had a discussion on it with a woman who was interviewing at my office last year. Hopefully this is a reminder for me to pick it up at the library next time…
