Current events keep reminding him of Macmillan, the night of the long knives, Profumo and Christine Keeler. Yet somehow he says sixties sleaze was cooler. Dirt was real dirt and people were really shocked. In those days people were polite on the tube. I feel all this Home Office blah,blah,blah has let down people like Rachel from north London really badly. Still Tony's in the bunker now and the Russians are getting closer to Brandenberg Gate, which has been moved to Whitehall for the duration of the hostilities. 10 Downing Street, the tackiest reality show in town.
