‘lost’ whale swims up the Thames
January 20, 2006 – 6:41 pmoh the poor thing! today the big news is a Northern Bottlenosed whale was seen swimming up the Thames under Westminster Bridge around lunchtime. i’m not sure what the latest news is, but the British Divers Marine Life Rescue group said it would help the whale if it became stranded. it seemed that’s what might be happening as the whale - which is used to deep water- almost got stranded a few times in the shallow water near the riverbank around the Battersea Power Station.
I do hope it will be alright and no-one runs into it and all sorts of other things that could happen..

Always expect the silly brits to spend millions of pounds in saving one stinking whale.
Any civilized nation would have caught the whale, slaughtered it and turned it into fine whale-meat and cod lever oil.
Brits are turning out to be god-damned tree hugging, whale loving, eco-junkies. I don’t think Britain has a future, the future belongs to India, US and Japan, the three nations where whale meat is sold by kilos.
I have eaten it many times. Ha ha…

I still feel that letting that whale die in Thames was a sheer waste.
Think of the tons of mutton that got waste. I mean that much mutton could have provided ample protien supplement to a whole colony of starving Africans.

yes the poor little whale. Mutton is by the way the wrong name - you’re thinking of another animal. Oh, perhaps you need us to buy you a dictionary Indian Capitalist? the whale wasn’t particularly big..and i think you’re ego is bigger than lots of people’s! ho ho i am in the process of attempting development of such a super size ego. i wonder if they’re on sale at Wal Mart? what do you think IC?
